Board of Commissioners Approvals

(Lawrenceville, Ga.) –The Board of Commissioners approved a change order to the existing Pre-Development Agreement with Skanska Infrastructure Development, Inc. for the study of various traffic improvements in the I-85 corridor, especially as they relate to the Ronald Reagan Parkway Extension. The change order involves no additional cost to Gwinnett County. The Board also approved the execution of a Project Framework Agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) allowing for cooperation between GDOT, the County and Skanska on this additional work. County Extends Study of Ronald Regan Parkway

(Lawrenceville, Ga.) – Gwinnett commissioners agreed Tuesday to extend a contract for technical, environmental, financial and public feasibility studies for a proposed three-mile extension of Ronald Reagan Parkway that would connect it to Interstate 85.

Website, Public Meeting Announced for
Ronald Reagan Parkway Extension Project

(Lawrenceville, Ga.) – Gwinnett County Department of Transportation has launched a website and is inviting individuals to participate in a Citizens Advisory Group for the Ronald Reagan Parkway Extension project. The project has been proposed to relieve the severe traffic congestion currently experienced in the southwest area of Gwinnett County, and especially to improve the accessibility to Interstate 85.
