Citizens Advisory Group

Gwinnett County and the Skanska Team believe public awareness and involvement are vital to this project.

A Citizens Advisory Group for the project has been selected as a way of keeping members of the public involved and informed about the project, and to provide a clear channel for hearing perspectives of business owners, residents, commuters and others.

The Citizens Advisory Group was self-selected by attendees at the November 3 public meeting at Berkmar High School in Lilburn.

The Citizens Advisory Group is comprised of stakeholders representing residents in and around the study area and general commuters, as well as those representing business, environmental and educational perspectives. The group will spend time during the Pre-Development phase listening to information about the project, sharing ideas, identifying issues and helping to raise awareness of various stakeholders' perspectives.
